I have What's New Pussycat stuck in my head (woooah ooh ooh ooh ooh). What more can I say, really?
Law of Sympathy, i.e. the assumption that things act on one another at a distance through a secret link, due either to the fact that there is some similarity between them or to the fact that they have at one time been in contact, or that one has formed part of the other.
I think that this is sort of along the same line...whenever I hear Viva Las Vegas I actually hear that commercial, Viva Viagra. It makes me crazy. And it makes me feel a little dirty.
ReplyDeleteYou could ask "why, why, why Deliliah?"...maybe she knows
ReplyDeleteOooh! Those viagra ads just make me mad -- they are so SKEEVY, and they don't have to be. It's like "hey, let's be extra sleazy, shall we? wink wink, nod nod That's what she said" single entendre unfunny. UGH.
ReplyDeletemaybe Delilah knows, maybe I should ask Neil Diamond who I heard at least 10 times while I was over at the CLJ today!
I am not sure why those ads have to be so nasty. And what about those weird ads featuring star of tv's Growing Pains Mr. Alan Thicke advertising some sexy Las Vegas trip, that are for couples only, but where you can meet new and exciting friends? Not sure that Vegas is the sort of place I would like to visit unless I went totally out of my mind.
