Junior Rose Festival parade

I mentioned this a while back - here is a middle school marching band in the Junior Rose Festival Parade performing Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones - a perverse yet delightful choice for 10-14 year olds to play while walking down the middle of the street.

(I did not get my flickr done by noon (I walked to the library to return a book instead), but I am currently in the thick of it and expect to finish today!)

    This is a great photo! I love the song, the age of the kids and the movie playing at the theater. It causes happiness, these three together.
