enthusiastic failures

If you're afraid to fail, you're afraid to try. (gnomic wisdom courtesy of the Iceland chapter of Eric Weiner's travel/happiness book The Geography of Bliss, which was very enjoyable -- more about that later.) Enthusiastic failure is my goal this year. The more I think about it, the more I like it! And that's all I have to say about that at the moment.

I've decided to post-a-day in January along with Martina. This year she's put a fun and positive spin on her experiment. (I will probably just post my regular way, only every day.)

Happy 2009!

  1. That Weiner book sounds really interesting! When you're done with it, i may hae to put it on hold!

  2. You should put a hold on it now! We have 36 copies and there are only 12 holds (I just looked) so you wouldn't even have to wait long.

It's a quick read and very interesting! Also, "That Weiner book" makes me laugh and laugh.
